Program 2026 of the Dutch Delegation ‘Knights of Alba Amsterdam’

Dear Knight,
We are pleased to present the following program, marking the milestone of our association reaching 54 dedicated members by the end of this year.
Regarding the process for accepting new candidates as future members of our Delegation, we would like to meet each candidate at least twice before providing a positive recommendation to the Ruling Council in Alba.
For 2026, we have planned five exciting events, as detailed below:
25 January: Ottavo Capitolo nei Paesi Bassi & Third Annual Meeting of the Association
This will take place at the Pestana Riverside Hotel in Amsterdam, combined with our third Annual General Meeting. The dinner will be prepared by Chef Ayt, the author of the award-winning cookbook De Aytems van Inspiratie.
17-20 April: Our Annual Wine Trip
This event will visit various wine estates and gastronomic locations around Alba. A highlight of the trip will be on 19 April, when we will celebrate Capitolo dei Tulipani at Castello Grinzane Cavour, presenting white and red tulips as a symbol of friendship between the Dutch Delegation and the Ruling Council in Alba.
23 June: Bring Your Own Bottle
This event will be held at a venue to be confirmed in The Hague.
8 September: Special Knights Dinner
We will host a thematic food and wine pairing with the Commanderie de Bordeaux aux Pays-Bas at Fort Zuidwijkermeer in Assendelft.
14 November: Nono Capitolo nei Paesi Bassi
This will be combined with the XI Settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo at a venue to be confirmed in Rotterdam.
To ensure the success of these events, some of our Board members will be reaching out to a few of you to join the organising committee. We are excited for what’s ahead and look forward to meeting with you all soon!
